I was invited to attend this BBQ and was well worth it.  I was able to talk with Peter Ryan on the progress of the FSL (Fire Service Levy) and was told that a bill would be presented to sort out the present mess where the FSL is based on your insurance policy will be sorted out within 2 months.

I also spoke with the Planning minister, Mathew Guy who was receptive  to the COLDSTREAM  2020 proposal of expanding Coldstream. He also mentioned the fact that the Coldstream Rail Station had potential in developing the area.

Coldstream Timber Moves To The Other Side

Coldstream Timber has finally moved from 645 Maroondah Hwy to 700-710 Maroondah Hwy.

Thank you all for putting up with the inconvenience of having to use both sides of Maroondah Highway in order to get your timber and hardware at Coldstream Timber and Hardware.

On Friday the 24th of February we were able to finally relocate to our new premises and now we are able to operate on one side of the highway.

The new site has two driveways and plenty of parking as well as a drive through.

If you wish to pick up timber please use the Yarra Glen end driveway and drive into the first green shed.  Staff will help you with your timber needs and give you a docket.  Drive to the new Hardware Store and collect your hardware if required and get your invoice.

Continue driving through the second driveway (Lilydale end).

If you just wish to order timber, buy hardware of just have a cup of coffee we suggest you use the Yarra Glen end driveway but turn right into the front car park.  Park near the Hardware store and exit at the Lilydale end driveway.

The “old site” will still be used to process our F17, dress timber and make Musclebeams.  There will be no need for builders to go to the old site.
