OPERATORS of Coldstream’s controversial compost facility have been ordered to stop taking any more waste.
After more almost two years of legal battles, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal ordered the Australian Native Landscapes facility to stop receiving any new green waste within four months, and have all green waste cleared from the site within seven months.
However, the finding leaves open the opportunity for this order to be changed, pending the outcome of other hearings.
