TRAFFIC chaos is predicted for afternoon peak hour commuters after a truck was engulfed in flames in Coldstream at 1pm today.
The truck was travelling north to Coldstream along Maroondah Highway.
A pasing motorist who contacted the Leader said the whole truck was ablaze.
David Galteri said: ``First the engine at the front of the truck was on fire then the flames started going along underneath the truck.
``It hit the tarpaulin and the whole thing was up.’’

It is believed the driver had safely escaped and several cars had pulled over.
