Yarra Ranges Ratepayers Group president Alister Osborn, who is also president of the Lilydale Chamber of Commerce, said he would stand for Melba Ward.
Other group members to join the contest are Michael Matthews (Ryrie), Jim Child (O'Shannassy), and Maria McCarthy and Clive Larkman (both Billanook).
Comment: Michael Matthews has responded to my request to post his policy on this blog and this was posted earlier this month.
I have asked Jeanette McRae for a policy statement a number of times. An email from her suggested that she would soon, but, as yet, nothing!
