Should the urban growth boundary be extended further in the Yarra Ranges? What sort of development would you allow?
Yes I support development that will not harshly affect areas that are environmentally sensitive; there are many locations within the Shire that could withstand further development such as Coldstream. Since the first development there was completed in the 60’s it was always the plan to open additional stages. This would assist in increasing numbers in the Primary School and help the local businesses that have been suffering for many years. As part of this development it could be assisted by the reinstatement of the Lilydale to Healesville railway as I stated previously.
