I'm looking for responsible public spirited Australian volunteers to join me in promoting Australian Tourism to targetted markets such as the USA and Canada but every other locality on the globe is a potential target. If you have some knowledge of Australia or at least your own state and have pleasant writing and diplomatic skills then please respond to become one of Australia's unofficial ambassadors. Some knowledge of internet use and social media would be helpful though not essential as these can be easily learned.
If you have been following the recent Tourism Australia and Qantas business divorce and the recent Qantas promotion on the popular Ellen Show..in the USA, then you can see how Mr Alan Joyce is promoting Australia in different ways to get more free discussion about Australia in the media by giving away 400 free trips to Australia. Social media is abuzz with talk about Australia and why not us do something to help Australia receive more tourist travellers.
Any background is suitable and you dont have to be in the travel agency business worker to be a worthwhile contributor for your country.
So please lets see how many nice people want to help out Yarra Valley & Australia in our time of need. I believe this endeavour will be an interesting and pleasant experience for all participants and help in everyones personal development imo.
These are not paid positions, however I will try to get some help from the main stakeholders for some information training and other assistance.
