Hate to break the news worthiness of the article, but the bus shelter is useless when it rains and when the hot sun is beating down on anyone attempting to 'shelter' under the structure providing no shelter for humans.
I'm sure that whoever designed the shelter or even the person responsible for ordering it has never even tried it out in any similar location or weather.
Perhaps someone in Coldstream would like to try it out next time during a heavy down pour or during very hot sunny days and report and prove me wrong.
By the way its not only Coldstream whose public transport users are insulted by poorly designed bus shelters...one should try the nice looking but useless ones at Yarra Glen and throughout Victoria I suggest....St Kilda Road all selected by people who only use government funded limousines or privately owned air-conditioned luxury cars funded by their excessively high salaries from tax revenues.
