Good afternoon,


I am contacting you in relation to a project the Regional Museum is conducting called Memory Bank. We are inviting all members from all communities from the Yarra Ranges region to take the opportunity to participate in this exciting project to have their images included and become a part of history!

The memory bank is a digital museum collection in the making! Our theme is "My Life, My Yarra Ranges" 1950 - 2010. It could be about anything.

The photos are scanned and the stories recorded. As we collect photos and stories, the museum builds up a fantastic visual record of the regions life and times. These images will be stored in the museums photographic collection.

We will be conducting a Memory Bank collection session at the Coldstream Community Centre on the 16th March 2010 1.30pm - 3.0pm. The session is open to everyone.

I was wondering if you include this on your website for Coldstream, it would be appreciated.

I would also love to hear any suggestions you might have for any group that meet in the Coldstream area and might be interested in this project.
