Coldstream Garden Supply is closing down as the landlord will not renew a lease for the land.  The landlord is within his rights to do this but the previous governments have locked up too much land as green wedge.

Martin had tried for years to re locate but because there is NO LAND around Coldstream in the UGB he will  be forced to shut down and dismiss his staff.

He employs about ten locals who will be looking for new jobs.  Tragic!

As you know the COLDSTREAM  2020 group has been trying to get the UGB expanded and this is one of the reasons.

The sooner the better.
