I want to congratulate Major Jim Child and the other Crs who passed the motion to recind that silly ban on reflex paper. And I was hoping that Vic Forests might rethink and build their offices in Yarra Glen on the site next to St Lukes church which I had earmarked as a great site for and Arts and History Museum as the site is owned by the Shire who had intended to sell it.
I have decided it would be more useful as accommodation for VIC FORESTS and their 100 staff than wait 5 years to get govt funding for a Museum. Imagine how 100 extra people would do to the Yarra Glen economy... 50 extra takeaway lunches every day maybe, IGA might sell more groceries, some might even buy a house in the area....and so it goes on....
but now I read that a renegade Councillor wants to stop it?? Wants to stop new Maccas Jobs and food services, wants to stop progress but wants to spend our ratepayers money on expensive legal fees? Is this what Councillors had promised in their election promises? To make some Solicitors and Barristers more money?
Today and this year January 6th 2013, I want to remind our economic professionals and the various tiers of government politicians that our Australian owned banks security is increasingly being put at risk by all three tiers of government mortgaging our freehold land and buildings which rank ahead of our property lending banks who think they have a first mortgage, but in fact they really have is a FORTH MORTGAGE. Yes a FORTH MORTGAGE. The mortgage ranks may go like this but not yet tested in a court...
Local government is first mortgage, the States 2nd Mortgage and the federal government the 3rd and largest mortgage before the lending banks who have a 4th Motgage ranking..
Just divide 350,000,000,000 by say 14,000,000 property owners $25,000 each add council and state deficits? Now imagine the Liberal wanting to reduce that $350 Billion if they win the next election...guess who will be paying that off?
Each tier of government is undermining each others security by borrowing more and more until the land owners can no longer support you all or their banks and they are sold up in a very messy economic revolution in courts and maybe much worse for the nation.
I STRONLY urge you all to stop and think before you increase council rates or build that $17 Million castle for council staff, or that $10 Billion to build an importers port or the Federal deficit to keep a few thousand in jobs by increasing our property owners mortgages by $350 Billion without the land owners direct permission. An election win which includes those without land or assets is not any permission to mortgage private land to the hilt to foreign banks or others.
There appears to be no co-ordination between the various local, state and federal government before they decide to spend our private wealth and our property owners equally seem oblivious to what is really happening to their assets.
