KINGSTON council needs more time to respond to Planning Minister Matthew Guy’s controversial offer to extend housing growth boundaries into protected green-wedge-zoned land.
Mr Guy has asked for submissions by the end of November, but Kingston Mayor Ron Brownlees said the council hoped to reply in March next year, when it had completed its long-awaited Green Wedge Management Plan.
