Help wanted for needy animals

ANIMAL welfare group Animal Aid is calling on eastern suburbs residents to volunteer at one of its shelters in Coldstream, Bairnsdale or Sale. 

 

Volunteers can help by spending time with animals, assisting with cleaning and feeding, or helping out with administration, gardening, maintenance and laundry duties.

Animal Aid general manager Nell Thompson said the service has 420 volunteers Victoria-wide, but is urging more people to get involved. For more information, call 9739 0300.
