YARRA Ranges Council has bowed to public pressure to further extend the consultation period for a critical piece of policy that will govern its management of trees, forests and wildlife.
The 100-page draft Flora & Fauna Strategy document will now be out for public comment until March 4, after the council granted a further four-week extension to the consultation period.
