Its all unclear at this stage really, because our insurance premiums should be coming down by 50% which for most of us paying commercial and housing insurance should be more than than the expected 'slug' mentioned in the latest round of newspaper articles. Lets wait and see first before we jump the gun imo.

Now on another matter, there has been dicussion about the CFA not getting enough money for its various services in local areas apart from the IGA membership card donations, and if this is the still the case I feel that insurance companies should be donating/contributing some of their own funds in view that CFA members are the ones saving the insurers quite a lot of money in many cases.

I would have thought it would be good public relations to support the good work CFA members do in saving life and property with the SES of course.

So if anyone can fill me in what the situation is in these matters would be helpful.
