ARTS & HISTORY MUSEUM PROJECT for YARRA GLEN gets $7 million Grant would be a good news story if it were true today but it is possible in my opinion.
Looking for interested people to help lobby both government and private benefactors to help establish a purpose built Public Museum in the centre of Yarra Glen to house old and new Art works and Museum Victoria displays of currently unseen collections.
Please spread the word about this interesting and exciting project.
I have already earmarked the Shire owned site behind the bus shelter where the former Toy Library is situated as a suitable site to house a multi-story building up to 10 storeys high perhaps made of cross laminated timber as a signature building to house extensive Art collections, some resident Artists & classes and other Victoria Museum displays currently always in storage. A great project for brilliantly artistic Architects too.
