I'd like to ask all the Candidates what they currently know about where the Shire revenue comes from and how much comes for specific purposes from State and Federal Govt tax collections? How much of the ratepayers money is for recurrent salary?
Why did our rates rise faster than inflation?
Why do we have so many people on the Shire payroll who should be on the State and Federal welfare payroll.
How did we get to this state of affairs that the Shire is doing what the State Federal Govt should be doing and why do we have an anti business local laws department working against the work of the economic development department ?
Who really controls the Council expenditure budget?
Why do we need to refurbish old looking but functional swimming pool buildings?
