A message from Dean about the FDI
I have been looking, in detail, at the weather forecasts and FDI (Fire
Danger Index) ratings for tomorrow.
The temp are not as hot as Black Saturday (10c less) but the winds are
near cyclone strength and the fuel loads are still powder-keg dry.
The FFDI and GFDI rating are just horrible - equal to or worse than Feb 7th.
Beware of grass fires in your area..
