Beloved kelpie may be the lure for fugitive wildman

In the dog pound at Coldstream sits a kelpie named Zoe. She is the only creature in the hills east of Melbourne pining for James D'Zilva, the disturbed and unwell man who allegedly stabbed a Healesville policeman nearly three weeks ago. Zoe the dog may be the key to luring D'Zilva out of hiding and into the safety of a psychiatric ward.

The Age, should be ashamed. The family of this man have chosen not to speak to the media after being unfairly harrassed in the early days of this story.
So author John Elder has made up facts to fill his story.
