Urban growth boundary could extend

The coalition has proposed a new system of reviewing the UGB every two years, involving a panel independent from the Planning Minister.

This would be overseen by the new independent commissioner against corruption. 

"We would like to put a process of boundary review every two years. That doesn't mean the boundary will change every two years, it will just mean people can propose changes to government," Mr Guy said.
