By now, you should have received your survey from Cr Jeanette McRae - Ryrie Ward - Yarra Ranges Council.
I have already had numerous complaints about the questions on this survey calling it confusing and a joke.
Question 2. Mentions C97.
Not many understand or have heard of C97 and those that do do not see C97 as a part of the EXPANSION of Coldstream. C97 relates to the present township and should not be confused with any proposed expansion.
One resident thought this was put in to confuse people and muster a negative response from those who oppose dual occs.
Question 3:
"a greater mix of housing in this area"
people were confused about the area in question, ie the existing township or the proposed expansion as outlined by the COLDSTREAM 2020 group.
Question 4 and 4a
are also confusing. Would you like to see the residential boundary maintained? YES OR NO OR Don't Know
4a should read IF NO not if yes!!!
Comment: At our meeting with the Shire and Jeanette last month we were told by Jeanette that our group would be able to make comment on the survey BEFORE IT WENT OUT.
THIS WAS NOT DONE!
