Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Coldstream on August 2.
Police said three 12-year-old girls were in the Halle Supple Reserve playground about 4.45pm when they were approached by a man who asked them to expose themselves.
The girls immediately left the playground and police were notified a short time later.
The man is described as being in his late 30s or early 40s, solid build and balding with red hair and a moustache.
Police said he was wearing a white polo shirt and jeans and may have been driving a white VS Commodore sedan or similar.
