Fire-ravaged towns not ready for tourists

A GROUP of frustrated Marysville residents say the Victorian state Government and Murrindindi Shire aren't doing enough to rebuild business in their fire ravaged town.

They are upset that with the ski season opening this long weekend, the town is unable to cater for tourists heading to nearby Lake Mountain.

Mr Roennfeldt said Marysville residents continue to move to Alexandra or Healesville, because there was no work or services at Marysville.
