After more than a year in the planning, Coldstream will get an Historic Marker.
We should be proud of and know a little bit of our Coldstream history and this is just a small reminder.
I took a sneak preview today and wish to thank Val Sheenan and Cr. Jeanette McRae.
Val Sheehan has been a resident of Coldstream for over 60 years and over the years has built a wonderful collection of historical information on the families of the area.
Val is not a high profile person and shuns the limelight. Her main passion in life, beyond her close and extended family and friends, is Coldstream and the surrounding district.
The official unveiling will be soon and I encourage others in the area to put up an historic marker.
