Yes I know about this and I am disappointed because there
is a genuine need for more housing so that local young people and those who
wish to move of rural properties can continue to live in the area they
love.
As you are well aware I am not in favour of sprawling
suburbia on fertile rural land and neither am I in favour of development for
developments sake where there is no existing infrastructure.
However we are a democracy and the councillors were elected by the
residents of the shire to administer council operations
and services including the planning scheme.
