Senior Lib admits green wedge fears

Senior Lib admits green wedge fears:

"The Baillieu government's proposed changes to Victoria's planning zones, including green wedge areas is believed to have generated thousands of submissions. It is unclear if the submissions will be made public.

Planning Minister Matthew Guy said the appointment of a hand-picked advisory committee to review the submissions was part of ensuring the big planning overhaul ''delivers productivity growth and drives investment and liveability outcomes for Victorians''.

The advisory committee will report back to Mr Guy by November 30."

Lets be real...the govt should take note of only two main stakeholders interests...the landowner titleholder and the banks who lend money using the land value as security.

All the rest are not stakeholders...they are non owners, they are busy bodies, they are public housing tenants and other politicially motivated groups who want to control the owners property and value and what can be done with other peoples property and the money which councils can borrow against to spend for other services.

Its a theft which successive governments have sanctioned for over 40 years...both Liberal Govt who started this property value theft and the Labor Partys who have continued sometimes under the influence of the Greens movement in exchange for other benefits gaining a Financial advantage for voting favours.

In my opinion the Liberal Party lost its way when it came to representing property owners rights to use FREEHOLD property equally with other property owners, yet it has continued this fake promise that they will fix the problem, yet squib it every time in fear of losing the votes from ALP & Greens voters they will never get. They just dont have the balls or the morals to do the right thing and give back the GWZ landowners their natural FREEHOLD RIGHTS.

The shires still charges rates every year, but our rights to earn income are VERY limited and policed by the Planning Officers and compliance officers threats of legal action in a worse manner than KGB do in Russia these days. They have become our dictatorial masters.

I put the blame squarely on the State Government...who are trying to pass the blame onto the Councils and Shires under the guise of giving the citizens a say in their own communities. There is no democracy...its a fake... because the CEO continues to administer the beauracracy and the councillors have no say on who is hired and fired. The councillors rely on the staff for advice and recommendations and I suggest initiate very little if they even had the time to try influence the staff to follow a different direction expecially when maybe most councillors would austracise them if they want to be re-elected by their voting supporters. Voters have become demanding because most just dont understand that Councils cant print money like the Federal Government can do when they offer FREE GIVEAWAYS. They WANT...and the elected Councillors are voted in to GIVE, GIVE, GIVE.

The main loser is the Landowner because the banks have their first or should I say second mortgage on the land they lend on. The real first mortgages are the rates and the group mortgages the Councils enter into every time they borrow or go into deficit for the benefit of their staff or overspending on programs which again benefit the non property owners.

This is why I believe that property owners and their bankers should either become more involved in the Council elections in a real attempt to protect land owners rights OR council positions should be abolished and the State Govt should be administering the Council and Shire areas through the CEO's or Administrators.

Why is it that Administrators seem to have the will and power to fix things after councils go broke and we have to wait until we go obviously broke again to have them re-appointed?

Why not have them administer all of the time on behalf of the real stakeholders?

LIBERAL-GREENS-LABOR 40 yr secret Agreement on GWZ land confirmed by a senior Liberal Geg Hunt yesterday and not so long ago when it was revealed that April Hamer and her daughter where the Patrons of a Greens Movement in the inner east.

All this time these 'snakes in the woodpile' had lead us to believe it was the Greenies who were stifling business activity when it really was the sons and daughters of the old Liberal Party dynasty who thought up these grand plans to steal private property rights from landowners by creating GWZ land.

I would commend the Baillieu government if they were to break their 40 year bipartison agreement with the Labor party and re-train their members. This Liberal Greens Labour policy compact was admitted yesterday by a SENIOR member of the Victorian Liberal Party who took a swipe at the Baillieu government's stewardship of Melbourne's green wedge areas.

In a speech to be made to the Mount Eliza Business School tonight, the federal member for Flinders, Greg Hunt, said he still supported his fathers' and Rupert Hamers GWZ planning policy which has enjoyed bipartisan support for 40 years'' he said.

Why can't these young Liberals think for themselves and support private property rights instead of trying to be our Rulers.
